Come and see the results of our most recent workshops: which have been held on Wednesday’s at Martyrs’ Gallery, Lewes

We have been drawing from the clothed figure in intriguing contexts. Sessions have been stand-alone but have offered progression through variety, technique and process. Graphite pencil has always been available, but each week we have explored working with different mediums i.e. charcoal/pastel/wet media on damp paper/ink and brush. Often pushed out of our comfort zones, the nature of experimentation has garnered fantastic and unexpected results.

Led by practicing artists – and experienced tutors – Rachael Adams and Pat Thornton.
